I offer a different kind of learning.
Some growth happens in the midst of daily work. Other growth requires stepping away.
In addition to speaking and advisory work, I have been privileged to work with universities and organizations in more immersive settings where reflection, dialogue, and personal growth are central.

Education and retreat-based experiences create space for reflection, conversation, and renewal. They are not transactional programs or motivational events. They are opportunities to pause, examine one’s life and leadership, and intentionally move toward greater flourishing.
Much of this work grows out of the practices outlined in Happiness: The Art of Living With Peace, Confidence and Joy and the broader science of flourishing. Participants are invited not only to understand ideas, but to apply them within their own lives and leadership.
Types of Experiences

These engagements have included:
- University-based programs and student development initiatives
- Leadership seminars and small group workshops
- Retreat settings designed for reflection and renewal
- Ongoing developmental cohorts
At DePauw University, I have worked with students, faculty, and leadership in programs centered on resilience, purpose, and intentional living. These experiences integrate reflection, dialogue, and practical exercises that support both personal and communal growth.
Participant Outcomes

Participants often leave with:
- Greater clarity about purpose
- Increased emotional resilience
- Deeper self-understanding
- Stronger alignment between values and action
- Renewed perspective on leadership and life
Ongoing & Future Programs
Educational partnerships and retreat collaborations continue to evolve. New opportunities are developed thoughtfully rather than frequently, with care given to the depth and integrity of each experience.
If you are interested in exploring a university partnership or retreat collaboration, I would welcome the conversation.
